The Difference Between a Photo and an Editorial Is Not the Camera.
Anyone can learn settings on YouTube. What you can't learn there is how to see like an editor: how to build a frame with intention, direct a subject who isn't a model, and shape ordinary light into something that belongs on a printed page.
This is not a gear talk. It's four hours of the exact approach I use on commercial and editorial sets in Toronto — brought to Saskatoon for one small group. You'll leave with a repeatable process, not a pile of notes.

The Private Field Session.
Ninety minutes, one-on-one, on location in Saskatoon. We shoot together, I direct you in real time, and you leave with the workshop material burned into muscle memory — plus images for your portfolio.

Before You Ask.
What gear do I need?
A DSLR or mirrorless camera with manual control. This workshop is about the eye, not the equipment. No lighting gear required.
What level is this for?
Intermediate and up. You should know your exposure triangle. If you're comfortable shooting in manual, you're ready.
Is the deposit refundable?
The $100 deposit is non-refundable. If your plans change, it transfers in full to any future Armando Ascorve Workshop Series date — it is never lost.
The remaining balance of $279 is refundable up to 14 days before the workshop. After that point it is non-refundable but transferable.
Where exactly is the venue?
A central Saskatoon location, confirmed by email once your deposit is received.
Will there be a model at the live shoot?
Yes — a real subject is provided for the guided shooting portion so you can practice direction, not just theory.
